WP Stage 2 — Wayside Performance Custom ECU Calibration
Stage 2 is where the Astra H VXR really starts to come alive. With the exhaust restrictions removed and the ECU recalibrated to take full advantage, the Z20LEH delivers a serious step up in both power and character.
The standard 2.5″ exhaust and pre-cat are the main bottlenecks at this level — replacing them with a 3″ exhaust system opens up the breathing significantly and allows us to push the calibration further. A turbo-back system gives the best results, but a cat-back paired with a pre-cat delete or sports cat will also unlock the gains.
Expect figures in the region of 270–290bhp and 300–330ft/lb of torque — a meaningful jump over Stage 1 with a noticeably more aggressive power delivery and exhaust note to match.

Every WP Stage 2 installation is carried out at our workshop by our experienced technicians and includes a before and after dyno run with a printed power graph.
Required hardware:
- 3″ performance exhaust system (turbo-back recommended)
- Pre-cat delete or sports cat
- Induction kit with crossover delete
Advised hardware:
- Forge Motorsport recirculation valve (recommended)
