It believes that human beings, as well as other living creatures like plants and animals, are all a part of the society and all should be respected and honored and morals and ethics should be used while dealing with these. It is vital to reassess the ways to attain sustainable development of human mankind. The ecosystem should be viable as the global stability of the entire biosphere is dependent on it.
This article tries to emphasize on the importance of environmental ethics as a conceptual basis of global sustainable development as the two ideas are inevitably bound together and one cannot achieve the latter without embracing the former. The formulation of environmental ethics aiming at sustainable development can harmonize the relationship of population, resource, environment and can lead to a transformation of the social, political and legal systems and raise environmental awareness of the civil society.
