SID212 ECU Unlock & Tuning Service – Ford Transit/Custom/Ranger (2018+)

Description

Ford’s SID212 ECU is locked from the factory, which means most 2018+ 2.0 EcoBlue Transits, Transit Customs, Rangers (and other models) need an unlock before tuning.

Good news: we can now do this in-house — no ECU send-off required.

What we do

• Remove the ECU

• Bench unlock the SID212

• Apply your chosen calibration (e.g. custom remap)

• Refit and road-check

Turnaround & cost

• £499 (bench unlock + programming)

• Same-day service in most cases (subject to workload/vehicle)

Options available

• Custom remap (improved power/torque + drivability, potential MPG improvement)

• AdBlue / DPF / EGR software solutions (off-road/export use only — see note below)
