The study is one of the first comprehensive efforts to examine the politdical culture of youth in Mizoram. It delves specifically into the political behaviour and attitudes of Mizo youth, while also focusing on women. The book provides an analytical study of Mizo women’s political attitudes, including their views on seat reservations, government, candidates, political parties, and political participation. Additionally, the study examines various aspects of the Mizo youth’s political engagement, such as their level of political awareness, participation, discussion, and interest. The research also critically assesses the Mizo youth perspecteives on pursuing politics as a career, their attitudes toward the political system and government, and the degree of trust they place in their vote. Based largely on fieldwork and interviews, this study is a valuable resource for researchers and political analysts interestred in understanding the political culture of Mizoram.
