Description
The GY-45 MMA8452 3-Axis Accelerometer Module is a compact breakout board based on the MMA8452 capacitive micro-machined accelerometer IC. It features 14-bit high-resolution sensing, low power consumption, and rich embedded functions for motion and orientation detection.
The MMA8452 supports selectable measurement ranges of ±2g, ±4g, and ±8g and provides I²C digital output for easy interfacing with popular platforms such as Arduino and Raspberry Pi. With support for up to two interrupt pins and built-in motion detection features—including free-fall, pulse, and vibration detection—this module is ideal for motion-aware embedded applications.
